The Barton Model 224 Differential Pressure Unit (DPU) is a mechanical device that monitors the parallel differential stress of a gas or liquid passing through a process system or the quantity of liquid stored in a process tank. In the factory-stream measurement process scheme, the DPU is linked to a main unit (e.g., venturi, orifice screen, or flow tube). For liquid concentration readings, the DPU can be linked in a multitude of respects to assess the range of stress induced by fluid density differences in the unit ship.

Barton Model 224 DPU is a dual bellows tool in load housings. The dual bellows configuration comprises of two inverse fluid-filled bellows, center block, coil springs, overrange valves, and torque tube installation. The stress housings are linked to the main unit in the scheme by pipe or tube. Differential pressure differences within power housings trigger the bellows to grow or divide towards the bottom with the smallest pressure in a circular path. When transferred to the torque tube engine by the spin wheel, the linear motion of the bellows is transformed into angular rotation, and this mechanical movement activates the monitoring system system.

The process monitoring tool associated with torque tube installation may be an indicator, button, receiver, camera, or other process control unit. The M224 DPU tests surface stress (DP) in a method system compared to method tasks and generates a mechanical signal operating on process monitoring tools and method power devices. High-pressure (HP) shipping is linked to the main high-pressure unit by pipe or tube. Low-pressure (LP) conservation is linked to the main low-pressure palm unit.
