TRZ 03-TE / TEL Turbine meter uses the rotor movement generated by the turbine wheel and is transmitted from the pressurized meter to the unpressurized meter head by means of a magnetic coupling. The number of rotations is reduced with the gears in the meter frame, which can be changed by choosing a correct series of gear changes, so that the mechanic totalizer reflects the cubic meters under fluid conditions. The reed brush (or inductive sensor) of the mechanical totalizer generates low-frequency pulses, the quantity of which, under actual conditions, is proportional to the size. The turbine wheel (HF 3) and the reference wheel (HF 2) are measured by high-frequency inductive sensors. The latter is a cam wheel on the same shaft as the turbine wheel that is capable of controlling the turbine engine. The gas meter operates without a meter head in the TRZ 03-E configuration. This gas meter has only the HF 2 and HF 3 wireless pulse transmitters instead of the conventional totalizer.

Configuration The meter case includes the measurement portion of the turbine wheel. The upstream fluid straightener of the measuring device significantly reduces the friction and swirls from the gas flow and moves the steam to the blades of the turbines.
