Differential Pressure Units (DPU)

The basic theory behind Barton differential pressure units (DPU) is that the pressure decrease around the meter is equal to the flow rate square. For calculating this pressure difference, multiple pressure sensors covered earlier in the chapter are used. In order to create a pressure differential, the mechanical component of the sensor is used while the sensor’s electrical part calculates the pressure difference.

The Model 226 Differential Pressure (DP) Indicator is used to measure the amount of liquid flow or fluid. The indicator has a dial of 3 inches with a 270 ° key range. The tool is linked to the low-and high-pressure ends of a main unit situated in the system queue for stream readings. The main unit can be any pressure drop tool such as an orifice plate, venturi pipe, or stream pipe. For liquid concentration readings, the tool is linked to monitor alterations in hydrostatic pressure induced by fluid height differences in a ship. The D.P. motion. Indicator has null and period adjustment micrometer screws. These modifications can be made without withdrawing the scale screen or the signaling pointer.
In applications where weight and room are at a cost, the ITT Barton Model M226C is used. Widespread use in jet engine and rocket test programs, ground support equipment for aircraft, water

Barton 224 dp unit
The Barton Model 224 Differential Pressure Unit (DPU) is a mechanical device that monitors the parallel differential stress of a gas or liquid passing through a process system or the quantity of liquid stored in a process tank. In the factory-stream measurement process scheme, the DPU is linked to a main unit (e.g., venturi, orifice screen, or flow tube). For liquid concentration readings, the DPU can be linked in a multitude of respects to assess the range of stress induced by fluid density differences in the unit ship.
The Barton Model 224 DPU is accessible in separate stress scores to evaluate particular distances between 0-30 inches of water column and 0-1000 psi, with secure work stress (SWP) outcomes of 500 to 10,000 psi (224 Non-C restricted to 500 to 3,000 psi SWP). Table 1-1, point 4. The 224C Bellows Unit Assembly (BUA) is manufactured in three bellow sizes: 1-5/8 inch, 5/8

Barton 752 Differential Pressure Transmitter

TagsBARTON
The Model 752 Differential Pressure Transmitters provide a 4-20 mA or 10-50 mA signal equal to the differential stress and transmit it to different capturing, monitoring or viewing devices. Sources of differential stress include liquid temperature and particular ship gravity changes; flux of liquids and gasses through orifice pipes, nozzles or venturis; pressure drop across filters and static line conditions, etc.
The Model 752 receivers merge an electronic circuit with a differential stress device (DPU). Production of 4-20 mA or 10-50 mA is compatible with a wide range of digital collection, energy and teaching equipment. The tool uses miniaturized hybrid electronic circuits and a cantilever beam of detection of molecular-bonded strain gage, driven directly by the movement of the bellows within the DPU. In many applications, the electrical connections are located within a junction box.

Barton 351 Liquid Level Systems
The Model 351 comprises of a single input sensor linked to a Barton Differential Pressure Unit (DPU) by capillary tubing. Hydraulic fluid is sealed inside the sensor and capillary tube, eliminating the need for additional piping. As shipped from the factory, the Model 351 system only needs to be mounted on the vessel to provide continuous level measurement when used with a Barton read instrument.
The sensor can be mounted in vented or closed system ships. The readout instrument (DPU, for example) can be installed at different elevations (i.e. below the vessel, at the upper connection of the vessel or above the vessel) as long as the instrument calibration considers the difference in elevation between the instrument and the sensor. Depending on the stress score needed, a Model 351 or Model 352 scheme can include any of three device kinds: 500-psi SWP sensor, 3,000-psi SWP sensor, No-pressure ranking sensor. All three

Barton 581A Differential Pressure Switch
The Barton Instruments Model 450C indicates low DP in high static pressure applications. Its 4-1/2″ dial provides excellent readability with economy of space. The M450C is a commercial version of the M316C, used by the U.S. Navy for shipboard measurement of DP, flow, and Liquid level. A rugged 4-1/2 inch (114 mm) indicator that offers economy of space and readability. Available with top/bottom or rears ports.ITT Barton M450C features:Aluminum (NEMA 4) or 316SST (NEMA 4X) and weather-proof dial 4-1/2 inch, 270° arc caseactuated by the 224C DPU Indicating Mechanism.
The indicating pointer traverses a 270° arc, providing excellent readability. It is driven by a precision, jeweled rotary movement that employs a thermally stable Ni-Span-C hair spring. The movement has a micrometer screw for range adjustments. Zero and range adjustments can be made without removing the scaleplate or pointer. Linearity adjustments are easily accessible after removal of the scaleplate.

TagsBARTON
The Barton 227C is used in applications where space is limited. The unit is widely used in aircraft ground support equipment, water treatment and air conditioning systems in jet engine and missile test programs. It is used inmany liquefied gas systems for liquid level indication. Some types include: LOX, CO2, nitrogen, nitrogen, nitrogen, and argon. The Batron Model 227C (Model 227AS) layered steel is accessible.
The tool’s panel is 6 inches. The indicating pointer crosses a circle of 270 ° (nominal) to evaluate differential stress, fluid, or liquid concentration. The tool’s movement has a micrometer key to modify the spectrum. Zero is adjusted to main pointer by “slipping,” which can be achieved without altering the scaleplate or pointer.

Barton 753 Explosion-proof Electronic Transmitter
CategoryBarton, Barton transmitters, Differential Pressure Units (DPU)
TagsBARTON
The Model 753 Differential Pressure Transmitters provide a 4-20 mA or 10-50 mA message that is equal to the differential pressure and transmits it to separate viewing, controlling or reading equipment. Differential stress sources include liquid temperature and specific gravity modifications in ships; stream of liquids and gasses through orifice tubes, nozzles or venturis; pressure drop across filters and static line temperatures, etc.
Model 753 receivers form a differential stress device (DPU) with an electronic circuit. The production of 4-20 mA or 10-50 mA is consistent with a broad spectrum of digital collecting, power and reading facilities. The tool uses miniaturized hybrid electronic circuits and a cantilever beam of molecular-bonded strain gage detection, driven straight by the movement of the bellows within the DPU. The electrical links are housed within a junction box in many applications. The junction box, however, is mandatory.

Barton 580A Differential Pressure Switch
When predetermined flow / level limits are exceeded, the 580A Differential Pressure Switch runs single or dual stream systems. Tubing or piping links DPU with the technique or vessel. Changes in differential stress (DP) at the DPU produce a mechanical output that crosses a pointer and click instructions.
The instrument is connected in the technique to the high-pressure and low-pressure sides of a primary device for fluid measurements. The primary tool is normally an orifice, venturi, or stream pipe. For liquid level measurement applications, the instrument is connected to assess changes in differential stress caused by fluid hydrostatic pressures in a tank.
